DTE

We are finally DTE!!!!! Hip Hip Hooray!!!!!!
(DTE stands for Dossier To Ethiopia and basically means you are on the waitlist. Your DTE date is your spot on the wait list)
Our DTE date is 4/22/11 Good Friday! Good Friday, indeed :)
It looks like we are (unoficially) #48 for a baby boy and #53 for a baby girl.

Today we got the precious last piece of paper notarized and then hiked ourselves over to the post office. I loaded my 11 months worth of blood, ink and lots of tears into an envelope and sent it on it's way. The post office guy was really nice about my nervous-ness and obsession over handing it over to him! He didn't even mind when we took this picture :) Be safe, dossier! We're so happy you're finally out of our hands!!!!!

Finally!

Finally Finally Finally after 7.5 weeks of waiting, our I-171H arrived today. FINALLY!!!!!

Tony and I took a much needed, wonderful relaxing weekend and it was so nice to cap it off with finding that in the mail tonight :)

6 weeks and counting... we're still waiting. sigh
